Epoke Virtus Mini ASTVIRTUS LIFT AST is a newly developed liquid spreader, where many years of experience and development have resulted in a new and improved version. The liquid spreader is width and quantity compensated as well as road-speed related (synchronous), which means that the adjusted spreading quantity per m2 remains constant irrespective of changes in spreading width or vehicle speed. Drive by connection to electrical pump, vehicle hydraulics or PTO. The VIRTUS LIFT AST features robust mechanics, synthetic components, accurate computer-controlled dosing and a protected spray bar. All mechanical parts are placed on the rear of the spreader, which leaves it easy to operate and service. All spreader functions are controlled by the remote control in the driver’s cab, which also makes data collection through EpoTrack possible. The spreader features a standard spreading width of 1 meter. By means of optional right and left side nozzles the spreading width may be increased to 3 m (1 m at either side).
The spreading of a salt solution (NaCI) is the most eco-friendly type of slippery roads control in urban areas frequented by cyclists and pedestrians, as liquid spreading reduces the salt consumption considerably. Liquid spreading provides a quick thawing effect and thus a better friction for cyclists and pedestrians. The liquid is distributed evenly and works its way through the frozen surface.

Advantages of Liquid Spraying
Liquid spraying enables a significant reduction of spreading material, thus making it possible to spray as little as possible, but as much as necessary. A lower material consumption contributes to overall cost reductions.
Experience shows that the salt amount by liquid spraying is reduced significantly, resulting in reduced environmental impact. Many years of testing have demonstrated that liquid is effective immediately after delivery on the road surface.
